Vito Trotta

Vito Trotta is a Los Angeles-based union hairstylist who is a creative asset to film and television productions. His detail to style and movement of hair continues to grace red carpets, commercials and print for more than 20 years. Celebrity clients depend on him for luxury hair maintenance, elite color and precision cuts on set as well as in the salon. 

Vito’s roots began in the competitive world of high-end salons where his skilled artistry lead him to work with Allen Edwards as a top stylist, international platform artist and Aveda educator. His expertise and eye for detail in the art of hair and wigs creates trending styles in the film and television industry. 

As an accomplished union hairstylist, he is honored to be a longtime member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. In addition, he serves as the current Governor-Hair for The Television Academy. Vito currently heads the hair department for the hit series Animal Kingdom and the groundbreaking Latinx series Vida, and has done so for the last 3 seasons of both shows. Some of his other iconic series include Gilmore Girls, Parks and Recreation and The Last Man on Earth.
